Rawa Zalkha (b. 2000, Damascus) is an architect, urban researcher, and visual storyteller based in London. Her work covers urban lived realities, social and spatial justice, community engagement, and strategic planning, alongside policy and urban governance. She emphasises participatory approaches and grounds her research in practice. Currently completing an MSc at the Bartlett Development Planning Unit, UCL.
Alongside her research, she works in documentary film and photography to examine the socio-political dynamics of space, focusing on the relationship between people, their cities, and the systems of governance that shape both. Her practice reflects a sustained commitment to spatial justice and to the communities most affected by urban change.
